What is CQC Certification?

The China Quality Certification Center (CQC) is China's largest professional certification body. CQC and its branches both domestically and internationally are the earliest and most authoritative certification bodies in China to conduct quality certification work. Its main business is, as authorized, undertaking national mandatory product certification (CCC) and CQC mark certification. Certification types cover product safety, performance, environmental protection, organic products, etc., and the certification scope includes over one hundred types of products.

CQC Certification Items:

CQC Certification Document Preparation

1. Compulsory Product Certification Application Form, please fill out according to the applicant's "Enterprise Legal Person Business License";

2. Copies of the "Enterprise Legal Person Business Licenses" of the applicant, manufacturer, and production plant;

3. Trademark Registration Certificate (if applicable);

4. Explanation of differences in series models;

5. Factory inspection reports (preliminary and latest factory inspection reports); if this is the first application, a factory survey form must also be completed.

6. Four sample units requested;

7. Chinese nameplates and warning labels for the products to be certified;

8. Product assembly drawings and electrical schematic diagrams;

9. Chinese user manuals for the products to be certified;

10. Photographs of the appearance of each model within the same application unit;

11. List of safety and electromagnetic compatibility related components;

12. If the applicant, manufacturer, and production plant are not the same entity, relevant agreements must be provided;

13. If the company has not previously obtained ISO 9001 certification, a process flow chart for the certified product is also required.

Note 2: 3C marks are applied for with the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA) "3C Mark Issuance and Management Center". CQC marks are applied for with CQC.

CQC certification cycle

Standard timeframe is 4-5 weeks. Expedited processing is available for an additional fee.
